A Late Winter - and a photo to remember it by
There are many ancient keeps and castles in France, several of which are still more or less complete.
Chateau Chervix is actually the name of a village dominated by an ancient keep of the same name, which you reach via a woodland path.
It doesn't get crowded even in summer, but I thought it would be interesting to visit it completely out of season and take some photos. Later, I'll tell you more about the castle and show you the other pictures I took - but for the moment, I just want to show you a winter scene. I'm keeping this as a reminder of the very late 2005 winter weather, which came in February and early March.
